How to Know If Someone Was a Communist?

During this Era, it was common to be speculated by your neighbors and friends. Everyone had to know about everything and be in everyone's business. At this time, TV commercial boomed with advertising about Communism and how to spot a Communist. Physicals looks didn't count for anything. It was said that if a person openly declared that they were a Communist, you would take their word on it, but if you see them openly reading communist publications, they could be a communist. If you saw them supporting groups reflecting communist views along with defends the activities of communist they could also be a communist, but if you see them do this series of things over a long period of time, then they MUST be a communist.
